Laura Cheadle is a 19 year old singer/songwriter from
Swedesboro, NJ. This Pitman, NJ native first stepped into
the music world at age 5, excelling at the guitar, drums, piano,
and of course singing. With such a unique sound and style,
Laura's soulful voice illuminates her passion for this life-long
fixation.
Being influenced at an early age by a very musical family,
music soon became her drive to pursue a future career in
music. By the age of 16, Laura had already written several
songs on the guitar and, with the help of her father's recording
studio and production company, made her own acoustic cd.
Currently, she spends her time in the studio recording her second
cd with the help of her band.
Since March, 2004, Laura's music has graced the
radio waves, being heard on the well-known Philadelphia
station B101. She has also performed at a VH1 Save the
Music Benefit Concert in February of 2004. Laura Cheadle
peformed this past summer in San Diego, CA. Laura's music
recently went from acoustic to full band from the help of her
two older brothers Jim and Nick Cheadle as well as Bill Grillo,
Dave Sikorski, and Justin Hirsch. Laura Cheadle had always
been playing with her brothers from a young age, but soon made
her band complete with the help of these three very talented guys
on bass, drums and percussion.
The Laura Cheadle band can now be found performing in
various venues and clubs in the Philadelphia and New York
areas. The Laura Cheadle band is a very tight and funky band
that always gets a crowd going. Each musicians' love of music
shines through on stage. The Laura Cheadle band is well
rehearsed and ready for touring!
